All my songs are written within hours but they all start because of one phrase stuck in my head for weeks… “But to keep me in your heart for the rest of your life… what a terrible fate that is” is a line that Snow White told Price Charming in Once Upon a Time… I kinda loved it and twisted it…

The song is called conflicted cause not only every single line contradicts the one before but because I think this is like 4 different songs in one and they all are conflicting with each other to stand out.

I’m so proud of this one…
This is my first recording since the surgery and it makes me happy it turned out this good.
Kellin Quinn, the lead singer of SWS is a high tenor/countertenor and lately I’ve embraced my countertenory-ness more and more. And their music is amazing so it was just matter of time for this cover to happen.
This is also the first time I try doing my own backing vocals and a second guitar track, but the main vocals and the guitar were all in one take, so sorry for the pitchness. I also recorded most of it on video so expect that on youtube ;)

THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR PLAYING “JANTA” +1000 TIMES IN LESS THAN A DAY!! I’ve reached +3500 in 2 months :)

And thanks to Leo, Abacus, Donuts, Carl, B6, Benji, Heroins, Bread, inhibitions, Pepe and everyone at TRP for teaching me so much about my own voice in the last month. And thanks to ATANAS for introducing me to SWS and being so curious and positive about my peculiar voice.

Just trying to get your attention… I learned this super easy song in the guitar and it was so easy that I got obsessed. I tried to make my version more “tenory”. I hope I succeed?

This is old, sorry. I still can’t sing. :s

About a year ago I watched the cutest short film ever. “Eu não quero voltar sozinho” featured a song that stuck in my head for an unhealthy period of time. Around september I tried to make a translation from portuguese to spanish that could keep the theme of the song and rhyme. And this is the result. As everything I post here, was recorded in one take, so I’m sorry if I messed up with the guitar picking.

So for undetermined time I’m not able to sing properly (there’s a story behind it involving an hospital and a fracture and some painful recovery). But I’m glad I record everything I do…

This is the last song I wrote, march 19. One year ago from that day I was having the worst week of my life and one year later they forced me to go away to the beach and get away from the city to try not to think about it all. But of course I though about it even more and I wrote a song. Ha!
It’s about making mistakes, not because you are stupid, or because you want to hurt yourself or someone else. But only cause you don’t know better, you are blinded by fear and that makes you clumsy in love. It’s more specifically about a “very first fight” which I caused because everything was so perfect, everything was so good that I was afraid of losing it. And that is not only a terrible thing to think, but a terrible way to live and a terrible thing to cause a fight for. Two years later this song was made… that’s how I work I guess.
